As a active member of the World Association of Press Councils, Press Council Nepal organized First Asia Pacific Regional Seminar of Press Councils in Nepal in 1994' and, it has participated in the International Seminars of World Association of Press Councils from the very beginning. Presently, Chairman of Press Council Nepal is the Chairman of SAARC Regional Committtee of WAPC.

Press Council Nepal is also performing the function of Audit Bureau of Circulation under the provision of, Press Council Act, 1992. It therefore, has maintained relations with the International Organization of Audit Burea of Circulations.
